In the republics of Donbass, work has begun to search for the dead and missing during the civil war. Local authorities are exhuming mass graves. Most of the victims are civilians who died either during shelling or in captivity of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. An investigative task force of policemen and forensic experts is working in the village of Sabovka, 60 kilometers from Luhansk.
To date, 354 people are missing in connection with the conflict in Donbass. 130 burial sites have already been discovered on the territory of the DPR.
