The deputy chairman of the Kharkiv Regional Council and his accomplice, a lawyer, received a bribe in the amount of 1 million 50 thousand hryvnias. According to the investigation, for a bribe, they promised to leave the head of one of the municipal enterprises as a director. The official and his assistant were detained red-handed when receiving 350,000 hryvnias — the last part of the bribe.
