In Ukraine, there are many opportunities to become the owner of land or illegally cultivate it. These opportunities are used by both farmers and agricultural holdings.
According to the report, the agency focuses on the three most common corruption schemes of illegal land acquisition.
It is noted that the first scheme is the unauthorized seizure of land of state and municipal property "with the consent" of officials.
According to the material, the second scheme is the conclusion of "joint activity agreements" for the use of land plots of state and municipal property.
In addition, the third scheme is the use of the "free privatization" tool for the withdrawal of land assets. It is specified that according to the law, the moratorium does not apply to land plots that are transferred to the ownership of citizens under the procedure of free privatization.
