In Zhitomir, an officer of the National Guard was detained in a bribe, who promised to enroll in a military unit and sign a contract. This was reported by the press service of the military prosecutor's office of the Central region on Facebook.

"The military prosecutor’s office of the Central region of Ukraine detained the platoon commander of a convoy company of one of the military units of the National Guard of Ukraine at the time of receiving undue benefits in the amount of $ 1,000," the statement said.

It is noted that the senior lieutenant of the National Guard demanded that a citizen of Ukraine US $ 1000 undue benefits for unhindered admission to the lists of the military unit of the NSU and the signing of a contract with him to serve in the military reserve.
