Employees of "Ukrzaliznytsa" demand the resignation of the director

A rally of employees of Ukrzaliznytsia was held near the building of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. Employees of the railway demanded to dismiss the director of "UZ" Vladimir Zhmak. The protesters said that due to the inaction of the head of the company, a critical situation has developed, and 30 thousand employees are under threat of dismissal. At the beginning of this year, Vladimir Zhmak declared a monthly salary of 625 thousand hrn., and at the same time specified that the amount is significantly "below the market level" for such a position.
