The SBU Lieutenant Colonel sold information about phone conversations of citizens

Prosecutors sent to the court an indictment against a Lieutenant Colonel of one of the regional security agencies on the facts of violating the secrecy of telephone conversations, official forgery and obtaining illegal benefits.

The pre-trial investigation found that the SBU employee for the purpose of personal enrichment repeatedly violated the secrecy of telephone conversations that are transmitted by means of communication.
In particular, on the basis of forged official documents, using his official position, he illegally obtained information about telephone connections and conversations of mobile subscribers, then passed it on to outsiders, receiving 25 thousand hryvnias for this.
