The head of the National Police, Igor Klimenko, announced the disclosure of a scheme for issuing illegal rights to carry weapons, in which at least nine police officers were involved. According to him, the permits were issued with forged documents and without the presence of the owner. The offer of assistance in the purchase of traumatic weapons was posted by the police officers on the Internet on free ad sites and in various groups of popular messengers. They sold fake journalist ID's or the right to participate in law enforcement units, which made it possible to buy and carry traumatic weapons. The amount of bribes ranged from 2 to 5 thousand hryvnia.
