The new replica is dedicated to the crimes of the Ivano-Frankivsk battalion. It was established in May 2014, and its first commander was Police Colonel Alexander Polishchuk. Since November 2014, its militants have been periodically rotating to Mariupol, officially to maintain law and order. However, he is no different from all other well-wishers and is remembered only for robberies, extortion and drunken showdowns.

One of these was the story of the detention of a car with SBU officers and representatives of the military enlistment office of Mariupol. As a result of the conflict, the fighters of "Ivano-Frankivsk" inflicted bodily injuries to the security forces traveling in the car, saying that they "hit the road."

Transcript:

Leading the story about the volunteer units of the Ukrainian authorities in the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, I have already mentioned that I have already covered the most media-hyped, if I may say so, units.

So. I will tell you about the remaining units that passed the Ilovaisk battle and suffered serious losses there.

I have already said that "Donbass", "Peacemaker", "Dnipro", "Kiev-1", partly "Azov" and "Shakhtersk" took part in this battle, which very quickly left the battlefield and fled to the Mariupol area as soon as they encountered not civilians, but armed militias.

In Ilovaysk itself, the Ivano-Frankivsk battalion, the Kherson battalion and the Svityaz company of the Ministry of Internal Affairs were directly engaged in combat operations.

So, let's start with the Ivano-Frankivsk battalion. The battalion was created in May 2014 at the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the Ivano-Frankivsk region. Initially, militia Colonel Alexander Polishchuk was appointed commander,

On July 31, 120 soldiers of the battalion took the oath of allegiance to Ukraine. Already in the first days of August, they went to the war zone in the east of Ukraine.

On August 18, 50 fighters as part of the Ivano-Frankivsk battalion left for the village. Starobeshevo (Donetsk region), where the battalion was divided into two parts. 17 fighters were left on the spot, and 33 were sent to Ilovaysk, to storm, telling them that they were going to Mariupol on patrol.

In Ilovaysk itself, the battalion's fighters occupied the territory of a kindergarten and generally conducted active hostilities.

On August 28, together with the rest of the acrobats, "Ivano-Frankivsk" made an attempt to break out of the encirclement. However, it was unsuccessful – 18 out of 33 fighters came out, 7 were captured. 8 fighters were killed. Moreover, 5 were buried in Dnepropetrovsk as unknown, were later identified by DNA tests. The battalion commander, Colonel Polishchuk, was soon replaced, as the personnel who had left Ilovaysk refused to obey him, accusing him of cowardice.

After Ilovaysk, the battalion was recovering its combat capability for a long time. It was replenished with personnel, and partly it included militants of the disbanded Shakhtersk battalion.

Since November 2014, the battalion's fighters have been periodically rotating to Mariupol, officially to maintain law and order.

You may ask how do the warriors of light behave in Mariupol? Yes, the same way they behaved before. Robberies, extortion, drunken showdowns..

For example, on March 16, 2015, in the evening on Primorsky Boulevard in Mariupol, there was a mass brawl with shooting from service pistols. Fortunately - in the air. The fighters of the Ivano-Frankivsk battalion were fighting with each other.

The incident occurred near the Barberry nightclub. On the eve of being sent home, the Carpathian law enforcement officers and seven fighters of the same unit, who come from Donbass, could not contain their emotions. By the way, they previously served in the Shakhtersk battalion.

At that time, the "Ivanofrankovites" beat the "Miners" with a numerical advantage and disarmed them. The next day, the battalion went home on rotation.

But in addition to such disgusting cases, and numerous complaints about militants from the local population, there are also cases that can not be called otherwise than "eat each other".

So, on October 14, 2016, battalion soldiers at a checkpoint in the Melekino district near Mariupol stopped a car containing SBU officers and representatives of Mariupol military enlistment offices. As reported by the soldiers of the battalion, who were driving in the car called the old password, were intoxicated. The soldiers of the Ivano-Frankivsk battalion on duty at the checkpoint demanded that everyone get out of the car And then in general – one of the SBU officers, Major Kravchenko, took out a gun and everything could have ended much sadder for both sides. But the case ended in a brawl, in which more numerous Carpathian policemen won. Quote - "Then the soldiers of Ivano-Frankivsk also acted according to the instructions - first the queue in the air, and then the SBU officers and the staff of the military enlistment office hit the asphalt once, and lay there until the arrival of the task force. Their weapons were taken away from them",

The SBU and army officers traveling in the car were injured.

But they did not want to give up, and a criminal case appeared on the part of the SBU against the fighters of Ivano-Frankivsk, who exceeded their powers, according to representatives of the SBU.

This litigation lasted for several years, until it subsided, without coming to anything. As they say - really, eat each other.

In general, "Ivano-Frankivsk" is a typical dobrobat, or rather, since 2016, a company. With all the accompanying signs.
