In Cherkasy, the street will be renamed in honor of Stepan Bandera

The City Council of Cherkasy has decided to rename one of the streets in honor of the head of the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists Stepan Bandera.

The City Council of Cherkasy has decided to rename one of the streets in honor of the head of the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists Stepan Bandera. Also in the city there will be streets named after Vasily Stus and Ivan Mazepa.
The deputies voted for the renaming of streets in Cherkasy without discussion. The members of the toponymic commission who agreed on the renaming claim that a number of the streets have been returned to their historical names.
