People's Deputy from the Servant of the People party Irina Vereshchuk chaired a meeting of the working group on countering hybrid threats in the parliamentary committee on national security, defense and intelligence. In her opinion, the security forces in Transcarpathia should work politically correctly, taking into account cultural and ethnic characteristics, but the state as a whole needs to pursue an adequate and tough policy in bilateral relations with Hungary. The deputy stressed that in the Ukrainian policy on the actions of Hungary in Transcarpathia "there should be" red lines "that no one should cross." The members of the working group decided to agree on ways for further interaction between representatives of central and local authorities, as well as to prepare proposals for amendments to the legislation.
