The Babel reported that The Hill published an interview with General Prosecutor of Ukraine Yuriy Lutsenko, who said that U.S. ambassador Mart Iovanivich had forbidden him to investigate activities of a number of Ukrainian officials. According to this source, in 2015-2016 U.S. vice president Joe Biden exerted pressure on Kyiv so as to hide a corruption scandal, connected with his son Hunter Biden, member of Burisma company directorate. Burisma is Cyprian-registered company, but it deals with the exploitation of shale plays in Ukraine.

U.S. banking records show Hunter Biden’s American-based firm, Rosemont Seneca Partners LLC, received regular transfers into one of its accounts — usually more than $166,000 a month — from Burisma from spring 2014 through fall 2015, during a period when Vice President Biden was the main U.S. official dealing with Ukraine and its tense relations with Russia.

“Lutsenko said some of the evidence he knows about in the Burisma case may interest U.S. authorities and he’d like to present that information to new U.S. Attorney General William Barr, particularly the vice president’s intervention,” John Solomon, the author of the artic le says.

According to American journalist, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) is the only obstacle to investigating frauds of Hunter Biden and his father’s role.
