Sergant Alexey Belko, recently dismissed from the Ukrainian army, blocked off traffic on the Metro bridge in Kiev and was threatening to blow it up. Subway traffic and surface transportation were also stopped.
It is known that Belko was earlier arrested for absence without leave. He also had police records for using drugs.
